Preparing for your camping Trip

A little prep work at home , prior to your camping trip will ensure you can spend less time cooking and more time enjoying.

PREP & PACKING TIPS

 Pre-chop vegetables and store in resealable bags

 Marinate meat in advance with Mountain Top Garlic or Smoking Blue Bonnet

 Portion spices into small, labeled containers

 Pack each day’s meals in separate cooler bags

 Freeze meats to help keep the cooler cold longer

 Bring resealable bags for leftovers and dry goods

 DRINKS

 Water (1 gallon per person per day minimum)

 Coffee/tea + creamer/sugar

 Hot cocoa mix

 Juice boxes or powdered drink mix

 Adult beverages (if desired)

SNACKS & EXTRAS

 Granola or trail mix

 Crackers or pretzels

 Marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers

 Fresh fruit (apples, oranges, berries)

 Energy bars or protein snacks

 Popcorn kernels (for campfire popping)
