Creamy Seafood Pasta Casserole with All American Seasoning

Serves: 6 | Prep Time: 20 min | Cook Time: 30 min
Ingredients:
12 oz small pasta (penne, rotini, or shells)
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups whole milk
½ cup seafood or vegetable broth
1 tbsp Bear Creek Rubs All American blend
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack or mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan
12 oz cooked seafood (shrimp, crab, scallops, or a mix)
1 cup frozen peas, thawed
½ cup chopped roasted red bell pepper (optional)
½ cup panko breadcrumbs
1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter (for topping)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
Slowly whisk in milk and broth, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens (about 5 minutes).
Stir in All American seasoning, salt, pepper, and both cheeses (reserve a little Parmesan for topping). Stir until it is melted.
Fold in the cooked pasta, seafood, peas, and roasted red pepper. Mix gently to combine.
Pour the mixture into the baking dish. Top with panko mixed with olive oil or melted butter and the reserved Parmesan.
Bake for 25–30 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Serve with a simple Green Salad with All American Vinaigrette
