While checking out pumpkin patches, football games, scenic drives, and hiking under golden aspens. And with a little planning, lunch on the go can be every bit as delicious as a meal at home.
Our South of the Border seasoning brings a kick of warmth that complements the spirit of outdoor fall adventures. Its blend of peppers, garlic, and spices turns simple ingredients into crave-worthy, portable meals.
Featured Spice: South of the Border
🌮 Lunch Recipe: South of the Border Chicken & Roasted Veggie Tacos
Ingredients:
2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp South of the Border seasoning
1 cup roasted bell peppers and onions
6 corn tortillas
Salsa, cilantro, and lime wedges for topping
Instructions:
Heat chicken in a skillet with olive oil and South of the Border seasoning.
Add roasted vegetables and toss together.
Spoon into tortillas, top with salsa, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.
These tacos travel perfectly — wrap them in foil and pack for a fall outing.
For a vegetarian twist, replace chicken with roasted cauliflower or portobello mushrooms — both pair beautifully with South of the Border.
